For years Ralph Smith (who played in Amnesia and who now works for
Warner Chappel) was music director for muzak in New York. Don't know if
he chose the Posies, but he loved that Cd so much he sent it to me. He's
the reason you can hear I'll be your mirror and lots of other unexpected
selections on Muzak, including old Alice Cooper (killer area). He has an
encyclopedic music knowledge, and for a while wrote a column called
Windbag in the Audities print magazine.

Bands audition their songs for Muzak, don't they? A lot of hipster
Seattle musicians have worked there too. Why do I want to say Mudhoney?
