It seems that most folks either love Naked or hate (which may be too strong
a word) it.
My general reaction on first listen:
Yawn.
If anything, my take is that it sounds remarkably sterile. The original
album-- even on CD, not to mention the boots-- sound much more warm and
alive. And I definitely think losing the snippets of dialogue costs the
album. And I'm not convinced of the running order either.
Like I said. Yawn.
Still waiting for the "de-Spectorized" "Be My Baby."
