I got no problem with gripes that the Jam might not have made the RS Top 500, but citing Loretta Lynn as a "hard to believe" pick? Great songwriter, great performer, and songs like "The Pill," "Don't Come Home A-Drinkin'," and "Rated X," considering their time and audience, were about five times as bold and revolutionary as anything any punk group ever did.
