Just as I thought... still wet behind the ears
good work catching up and playing "spot the 'influence'".
yeah, I think Neu was on Eno's list too....
I was pretty fond of that first Stackridge at the time. I'm surprised how many
other's cite them as a favorite. I liked Hawkwind, but they were so Damn Loud
at the Berkeley Comm Theater on the 1999 Party tour with Man. When I saw them
the next year at Reading it was a lot of bo diddley'ing while Stacia did the
bump and grind with another buxom woman. The band was pissed off too. Richard
Treece told me when he played with Hawkwind they just said "er, it's Bo Diddly
in E man".
