Interesting list, Morley, lending support to the notion that the parameters
of prog might be as nebulous as those of pop (e.g. a lot of prog fans would
never consider Spirit, Cream, ELO, The Rascals, or Jellyfish to qualify).

I haven't compiled a list of favorite prog albums, and it would take me
forever just to find all the albums I own that might fit the category, but
some of my favorite bands who have been known to be labelled as prog are
Barclay James Harvest, Caravan, Camel, Kayak, Triumvirat, and (early)
Supertramp. Of course, I have seen bands like Stackridge and even Klaatu in
prog sections of some record stores, but to me they don't really qualify.

Where might the boundaries of prog and experimental music intersect? In
other words, would bands like Kraan, Egg, Gong, Can, etc...be considered
prog or experimental?
