Two proposed projects --

Rock And Roll Music, The Neil Edition: Apparently, Beatles confidant Neil
Aspinall always thought that the 1976 Rock And Roll Music compilation was
improperly sequenced. This new version will feature the Aspinall approved
sequence. And since Aspinall also believes that a somewhat worn vinyl copy
is the way Beatles music should be heard, the reissue will be mastered from
an unusual source -- Aspinall's own worn vinyl copy. This will provide more
value for the money, as the final track on the CD, "Helter Skelter", is
scratched on Aspinall's vinyl, and thus, the listener gets to hear "I've got
blisters on my fingers" repeat for the final 42 minutes of the disc. This
new version comes with a bonus disc of Apple executives discussing other
ways in which they can exploit the Beatles catalog.

Love Songs -- The Remixes: Paul McCartney has enjoyed his forays into
electronic music. So Moby, Prefuse 73, Grandmaster Flash, Jellybean
Benitez, The Orb, Basement Jaxx, Frankie Knuckles and other remix
lumninaries now get a crack at the tunes on this collection. It will surely
be controversial to hear the new version of "Michelle" done by Peaches,
where she erases the original vocal and replaces it with her own, complete
with her typical hypersexual lyrics. This will be an enhanced CD that will
allow you to log onto the Internet and go to a special Beatles website,
where you can give Apple your credit card and/or bank account information,
and the company can withdraw money from it as it sees fit.
