I'm doing the "work at home" thing today, which allows me to listen to music all day, and as loud as I like. So, what did I do this morning? In the changer, I put in THE JOHN FAYE POWER TRIP, BE SEEING YOU by Cliff Hillis, JUST WAIT by The Jane Anchor and PARALLEL UNIVERSE by IKE. (Actually, I took the Jane Anchor EP and added the 5 mp3s available on their website to a single CD-R). Press the "shuffle" button, and we now have 46 randomly selected awesome tracks. Seriously, this is one hell of a batch of songs, I'm enjoying them to no end. The beauty of it is, that on most of these songs (with the exception on the "early" JA tracks), it's a lot of the same talent - Faye, Hillis, Kara, Dave Anthony (drums) and Joann Schmidt (bass).
Support them this Sunday night at IPO Boston! You won't be disappointed!
Mike
