My favorite Semisonic song is Brand New Baby off their Pleasure EP. The
version on Great Divide isn't as good. Parthenon Huxley originally told
me about this song, as it was one of his favorites...
I love the lyrics to Made To Last... Black, white, lemon or lime, I hope

Yeah, I got the email for that one - Semisonic, Dan Wilson & Friends,
The Flops and Trip Shakespeare (well, 3/4 as you say) all on the same
bill - and I just about flipped.
Then I calmed down and thought, I'm in Edinburgh (Scotland) and the
shows are in Minneapolis 8^(. Anybody want to start a collection for my
air fare?

got this on at work.... 'down in flames.'
i really love this album. i'm trying to get my head
around SOME unfathomable way to get to minneapolis for
this semisonic-flops-3/4 trip shakespeare reunion
going down 12/12 and 12/13. just don't know how to
swing this. but i'm thinking i've GOT to get there.
and then 'down in flames' is immediately followed by
'great divide.'
i think this is one of those albums that is really
wonderful as a whole piece.
