Or maybe re-adjust his medication?:-) Ayway, other
than the occasional SCREAMING CAPS for emphasis,
I, too, enjoyed that rant. I also happen to work on the
same floor as Elektra's west coast offices, where I
know for a *fact* -- having had a conversation or two
about it -- that a lot of employees I talked to (publicity,
radio, etc.) have no interest whatsoever in Jason Mraz,
in his music, his future with the label. I saw his photo
up on a breakroom wall, and asked what he sounded
like (this was months ago) and was told "ehhh...." And
so I guess the question is, does it matter when those
who are told this is an "Elektra priority" don't really
care for the band/artist? I think so. Now, Jet is a band
they really seem to be behind, and you hear them talking
about Jet, about how radio loves them, and the press
love them, they're "blowing up" yadda yadda, but I've
never heard anyone talking about Year of the Rabbit,
Dropline, Jason Mraz or half-a-dozen other bands
and artists they've got on their roster...
