For a (somewhat) similar thing, I've heard wonderful stuff about My Morning
Jacket's live show... maybe someone here can corroberate, since I haven't seen
them myself. My boss saw them as part of some company retreat for all of the
store managers, and they were so thoroughly blown away that the company bought
tickets for the managers to see MMJ when they came to Boston. He said he
didn't actually like the music itself, but that the band put on such an impressive
*show* that everyone was really, really into it. I hear it's great for fans of
that type of '70s guitar boogie, though maybe a little darker (?). -J
