I know what you mean! The Millennium (Again) Curt Boettcher (Misty Mirage)
Sandy Salisbury (Sandy) and Joey Stec cds that I have on PopTones UK are really
great and so is the 3 cd Millennium comp and Curt Boettcher's 1st solo lp on
Sundazed.
The Blue Marble from Saggitarius is really nice too. I have been too lazy to
check what is duplicated though because it's all so good.
Speaking of Boettcher type stuff....has anybody on this list heard of a guy
named Mark Wirtz? Apparently he has a ton of stuff out also and to my ears is
very similar sounding. I picked up one of his "productions" called Philwit &
Pegasus and it is just amazingly beautiful orchestral soft pop. I'm sure some
of you can shed a lot more light on him than I can.
I have to give Lenny Kaye big credit for introducing me to Saggitarius when I
was a kid with "My World Fell Down" on the original 2 lp Nuggets comp. I was
so in love with that song for such a long time!
