Okay, I will. :)
It's not like you can't get excited about the re-re-re-emergence of primal
rock - good moments from D4, Jet, Damone, and several others. But the
Strokes just epitomize "going through the motions" to me. Is it because they
are staring at me from every magazine cover? Well, perhaps, but only because
they've disappointed me two out of two times so far. I never want to see
another photo of the White Stripes either, but at least there are a couple
of tracks that get me revved up.
Foghat connection - 2nd album has to be a nominee for best album cover ever.
And they were a lot of fun - god bless Lonesome Dave!

PS - I am outing Bruce Brodeen as a Foghat fan - I guarantee he found them
"extremely highly recommended"
