Dave might even agree with you. He felt like he was forced to sing in keys that
didn't suit his voice...

That song on the Fleetwood Mac album, the Derelict is closer to what his voice
sounds like. He has that Roy Wood midlands quality to his voice that no one ever
asked him to use, except me.

He was doing some tracks with a local guitar dude here. This guy got pissy about
a harmony Dave had done. I pointed out that was his sound, but this guy insisted
on fixing one note. It took all the life out of the vocal. (This guitarist has
been treading water for the 23 years I've known him, because he wouldn't know a
real original if his life depended on him...) sorry local rant that no one would
understand. Well you probably would, as the world is filled with these guys.

And Dave you ask? He's a prep cook at a local crappy restaurant, living in a
trailer down by the river.
