Bobby S. that is...not Bobby H. (when I see you next Bob H., I'm bringing a
few Foghat cd's w me and MAKE you listen---I'm going to bore that snore
outta ya!)
Any previous praising Foghat on this list over the last 6 years is probably
from me in a few spots. ;-)
My fetish for early/mid 70's hard rock is too well documented by some onthis
list......for example: Bobby is playing Chicken Shack right now....and that
cd is literally in a stack of cd's to listen to today here.
Anyway, saw Foghat live recently and they kicked complete, total ass, even
if it was an oldies show. Rod Price plays on the meanest slides in rock
now. Lonesome Dave was a gem of a guy, too.......really humble, really warm
and a real music fan. His replacement(he died a few years ago) has
energized the band live, for any one who sees them come thru their town,
btw......
Now, we really don't have to talk much about them p ost-1980 much, I will
grant that willingly. To each his own, at the end of the day. But I sure
love this list when we can just razz each other on such things and folks
don't get all worked up about a tangent off the primary subjects covered
here.
