When I pointed out that the Meat Puppets version of I Just Want To Make Love
was a direct rip-off of Foghat, I was laughed at! I'll give them that first
album, but after that the should have changed their name to Leadfoot. I never
had the pleasure of seeing them...
I do know I sold a lot of their albums when I was a record store slave in the
70's.
I might have to stick up for REM and selected parts of the U2 catalog.
