I have recently been revisiting my White Stripes cds ( all four of them) lately. The reason for this is that I have read a recent interview with Iggy (done by Jack White) that really shows that there is mutual respect. If Iggy likes them, can they be bad? In addition, a recent article on Jeff Beck states that Jeff is also very taken by the Stripes. I wonder what Wayne Kramer thinks?

Anway, having heard all Stripes recently (including the Stooges cds) I came to one conclusion - They rock!..it is raw, it is rough and it is pure rock'n'roll. Listening to the Stripes has also made get the Back from the Grave cds out and the first few Cramps cds..all these cds have that raw energy about them..

Can Meg play drums?..is Jack a good guitar player?..who cares..it is Rock and Roll..

Note..I have not taken out my vinyl copy of the Jeff Beck "Wired' so you know I am not getting carried away!

NP: Thin Lizzy "Live and Dangerous" - is there a better combination of guitarists for Lizzy than Gorham/Robertson?

freakin Gorham...what a sound!
