On that note... I also caught REM on Leno last night. I enjoyed seeing some "energy" out of those guys. They played great. Also caught Rooney on that Carson Daly late night show. They were also really good.
I saw Rooney open for Travis in Upper Darby PA (just outside Philly) last Saturday. They were excellent. Funniest part was hearing all of the screaming girls (think Beatles on Ed Sullivan) during their set.
