What fascinates and baffles me is that when the White Stripes were a tiny
little baby band on Sympathy for the Record Industry, they were at worst
ignored, but as soon as they signed to a major and got on the radio and in
the magazines -- doing THE EXACT SAME THING that they'd been doing all
along -- they're suddenly vilified.  Sounds like a real bad case of too
cool for school to me.
