They used a couple of different bass players in the studio, (Larry Knechtel
comes to mind), and live, on the last tour, booked just before Jim ended up
on the wrong side of the lawn, they added bass and percussuion.
I must have opened for, and seen the Doors a thousand times, and Ray's left
hand was better than most rock bass players at providing pulsating, rythmic,
in-the-pocket, bottom end...
