catch a repeat. I went to Austin last month for the Austin City Limits
Festival and Cafe Tacuba was one of many great sets I was able to see. Even
bought their CD and they signed it! And their audience was as much fun to
watch as the band - they knew all the words and many were even screaming!
Is this band big in Mexico or somewhere? They were definitely
professionals!>>
According to RockonTV.com, the next airdate is Nov. 1st, 11pm eastern/10pm central. I've never seen Cafe Tacuba live. They are a band from Mexico and their fans are rabid. I've noticed that lately. I've seen Aterciapelados, Mana, La Ley, El Tri, Elefante, Kinky, and Juanes..."rock en espanol" bands...and the fans are just crazy! Everyone sings along. It's truly amazing.
This new Cafe Tacuba record is their 4th to 5th studio record, I believe. They have been around for over a decade now. They are pretty much big in all Latin America.
That's great that you saw them live! Lucky!
