All the talk about IPO Liverpool is making me want to get over there next
year!
Meanwhile, I am looking forward to the week of shows in NYC. Question for
NYC Auditeers: What's the best cheap way to get from Kennedy airport to the
Off Soho Suites in lower Manhattan? Anybody else staying at the Off Soho
Suites?
Leticia, Thanks for the info on MTV Latin American Video Awards! I want to
catch a repeat. I went to Austin last month for the Austin City Limits
Festival and Cafe Tacuba was one of many great sets I was able to see. Even
bought their CD and they signed it! And their audience was as much fun to
watch as the band - they knew all the words and many were even screaming!
Is this band big in Mexico or somewhere? They were definitely
professionals!
My three other favorite sets were Polyphonic Spree, Drive-By Truckers and Ed
Harcourt (whose admirers included Michael Stipe and Scott McCaughey sitting
on the side of the stage enjoying the music).
