since this fantastically fab tune has been brought up...
evan dando wrote it about alison galloway, longtime drummer for both godstar and smudge (and, as far as i can tell, every good pop band in australia). in godstar, her bandmate was ex-lemonhead nic dalton, who also runs the fantastically fab aussie pop label half a cow ... which on november 3 will release "sticky," the debut album by my band, the trouble dolls.
this is probably the lamest album announcement ever to appear on audities, i know, but we dolls are all quite giddy with excitement about all this, and we want to share our joy.

and...not too long after that, as soon as we can figure out the crazy-ass specs for sizing cd album art in britain, "sticky" will be released in the UK, too, on warmfuzz records.
