everyone reacts differently to sudden passings and the idea of death
and where anger, sadness,
depression, resentment and inconceivable immaturity are all emotions we
each at some time or another must experience
the one thing this list has in common is
the love of music, melody and songs
we may not agree on who's the best
or who has more credible street buzz
or real passion
and where we are all entitled to our opionion
We all really want to feel good and uplifted about the music we love right?
that being said
i wanted to be uplifted about the passing of someone who's music i had
appreciated greatly during the 3 performances I'd experienced
Spaceland with Quasi both as Opening act and back up band
Largo as Mr. Brion's guest
Silver Lake ST scene) it felt too ironic to type Junction
So
I put out a strong prayer/emotion to feel better about not being able to do
anything about someone else's demons or contrasts
And here's what occurred for me and raised my sprits
The Beatles ... Go Figure 8
Last Night
I was able to hear both an advance of Let it Be Naked
And Saw the New Lennon Dvd. Both Mind Blowing experiences with too many
highlights to go into right now
I felt the same excitement hearing and seeing these two new versions of
Beatlemania I felt the same feelings hearing Revolver the White Album and Abbey
Road for the first time.
and before the night was over
I could see Elliot Smith in a better light
and I want to wish rapid healing to all of the people and fans close to
him that are going their challenging moments
