First, thanks for to those who posted about The Motors. Great info. Mil
gracias!

So, I just finished watching the MTV Latin American Video Awards. It
was 2 and a half hours of pure fun!
Wow, an awards show that I did not cringe at. Great
performances...Gustavo Cerati was excellent and Cafe Tacuba....man, they
are securing a top 5 spot for albums of the year. However, the best
performance by far was the end...Iggy Pop and Sum 41. The song sounded
great, and I can't wait to hear this new Iggy record! He wrapped it up
with "Lust for Life". It was excellent. The opening was like a
superstar line up who called themselves Los Black Stripes with Juanes,
Alex Lora from El Tri, Vicentino, Andrea from Aterciapelados, and Los
Prisioneros...they started out with the riff of "7 Nation Army"...well
done Juanes.
It was on MTV2...so look out for repeats...and yes, they run it with
subtitles.
