Hello friends and fabs!
Sitting in the public library with free internet...thought I'd write a quick hello!
Liverpool has been a ton of fun so far! Weather has been pretty nice and the people are super!
Quick observance.....everyonein Liverpool smokes and everyone in Liverpool has a head cold!
My first IPO Liverpool show last night was beyond great! Being on Mathew Street and 3 floors underground in the Cavern was just awesome to say the least!
Hightlights of last nights show?
Young UK band called "RICKY" were really really good! Very much a Byrds / Beach Boys influenced sound. Tight harmonies and jangling guitars! These guys can really play and sing! This will be a CD that will be on the top of my list to pick up when it comes out in early 2004! I highly recommend this band!
Anton Barbeau just tore the place up with his music and wit! Great stuff Anton!
The Happy Losers from Spain were outstanding! Wish I lived in Spain if this is what their music scene is like!
Don;t have much time on the PC, but hopefully I will get to write in later this week with more!
