It's not really unlimited. Computer memory will determine a finite number of
tracks. You can do unlimited virtual tracks, but you can't play them all back at
once.

There may have only been one or two occasions when 16 wasn't enough for what I do.
In those cases, we already had a mix we liked, when someone decided to add more
guitars to his song...I just had him play along with the mix which was on the
computer, and added the new parts. It was easy enough to blend them all together.
Not unlike the old days, when the guitar solo got flown in to the mono mix
