That's another one. People have also drawn comparisons to The Cars "Just
What I Needed." I think the opening is a dead ringer for Jonny Polonsky's
"Love Lovely Love."

But I don't care. I'm just glad to see that the song's doing well for them.
I hope the album's doing well, too. Maybe some future "greatest hits"
package will get people to figure out how brilliant some of the songs on
their first two CDs were.

There's a fireman's carnival playing down the road from my house. Last night
at about 9:30 p.m. I was coming home from my dad's house and stopped by to
see if I could catch up with my daughter and her friends. As I entered the
carnival grounds, Stacy's Mom was BLARING from the speakers of the
merry-mixer ride (I think it might be called the Tornado or something). Kids
were singing along. I was singing along, like a dork.

I don't know who invented the riff, but it ought to be a certified classic
now.
