I have yet to get join the download revolution, but I just got DSL a couple
of weeks ago, and was getting ready to subscribe to EMusic.  I'm going to
have to rethink this though.  The 40 downloads at 9.95 a month will get used
up in about 10 minutes.  And if the idea is to cut out expense, the premium
service would give me more music for my buck, but that's at tops what I
spend on music in a month right now.  And in looking over the terms for a
NEW subscriber, it looks like the best I can do is 65 downloads for $14.99.
And with no packaging, potential to lose stuff in a crash..etc....blah!

It's a real Catch-22.  A service like this should really discourage illegal
filesharing (which I don't do either), but once limits start getting put on
the service, people will start heading back to Kazaa and the like.  I bet
they lose a lot of subscribers with this change.  You'd think they'd be
better off raising the price, but keeping it unlimited.
