With a completely different take.. I've been a big Buffy fan but never a fan
of Angel ( I have a couple of other friends who are the same way). I watched
the premiere of Angel and really enjoyed it. Thought it had a lot of the
Buffy humor (Joss Whedon wrote and directed this one). I had heard that they kind
of wrote it like a fresh start to the series, to kind of introduce everyone
to the viewers who were coming over from Buffy.

To keep this on topic, James Marsters who plays Spike has a great band called
Ghost Of The Robot. I know they play at 14 Below in Santa Monica a lot but
I've never seen them live.

Joe,
I didn't tape the episode but I did watch it. I'm a huge Angel fan,
but the premiere was VERY BORING. With the departure of Charisma
Carpenter and Vincent Karthiser (spelling?) the show isn't going to
last long at all unless they do something quick (Spike entered the
scene at the very end of the show, I'm keeping my fingers crossed...)
