As a poor sap who bought Wow/Grape Jam - a two lp set each with
it's own jacket - on it's release date some years previous,
horrible might be too harsh, but close. I liked the leadoff cut
"Murder In The Heart For the Judge", and "He" (I think?) which
contained outstanding guitar work, but the downhill slope was
more like a cliff. Worst was the awful 78-rpm cut with the evil
Arthur Godfry, where you have to move the needle over and
switch the speed to play (thankfully ;>). This could have only
been a Skip Spence deal, right? And Grape Jam was garbage, even
worse that the Super Session drivel of Stills/Kooper/Bloomfield -
gosh, I forgot how much I hated that blues jam drudge.

Wow *did" have an awesome cover, tho Bo Diddley once cautioned
about judging covers.
