For those of you going to Liverpool beware if you are going on the Magical Mystery Tour. The tour is fine, moderate cheese factor but the problem is for anyone with mobility issues of any kind. I helped to organize two busloads for this tour 2 years ago and they assured me that there was no problem for people with mobility issues-- wheelchairs, canes etc.

We got there & they would not let the girl I was with in the chair and the woman with canes on the bus and were extremely rude about it. They finally gave in after much persuading. They also assured me that it was not a safety issue-- it seemed like it was more of a pain in the ass for them even though we had people to help out.

There also happened to be a person with a bladder infection who I had to leave the tour with permanently as they refused to stop anywhere if she had to go to the washroom. Never got into the Cavern Club as the disabled girls couldn't get in and there is no entrance to the club without going down then up many stairs. The UK is ahead in some things but mobility issues are not one of them. I remember thinking at the time whether or not Paul's wife could actually take the tour.

Not trying to put anyone off just lettin' ya know the score.
