Annoying. Have you actually tried to rip this or are you just assuming that
it won't?

I just got the new Tim Christensen CD which has copy control stickers on the
front, yet I was able to rip it (again for personal iPod use) with no
problems. It said when I stuck it in that it would have to modify some files
on my PC in order to play it but given that it wasn't telling me what it was
going to modify there was no way I was clicking OK. I clicked cancel and
then ripped it with no problems.

Of course on the other hand I've also got albums by The Darkness and Kings
Of Leon and those won't rip, must be another system of copy control. The
only way I can see round these, beyond taking out my black marker pen, is by
hooking my stereo up to my PC and recording them in real time into a WAV
recorder.
