on this list. The timeframe is 1981 - 1983. I made a
mix tape with *somebody's* version of On a Carousel.
It starts off with synth string patch, and then a male
voice joins in and sings the first verse. Not until
the chorus does the rest of the band join in with
keys, guitars, and drums. Anybody have any ideas WHO
this might be? Thanks for solving this
mystery.

As mentioned earlier - it has to be Glass Moon. It
was a local radio hit out here sharing the airwaves
with bands like Men At Work and The Go-Gos.
