Another CD that should be mentioned is LA band - Skycycle "Ones and
Zeros". They were on MCA (just like BKITW) and there were trade ads,
there was even a song from it on a CMJ monthly CD, and then it just
never came out. I remember that the band "gave the music away" about
2-3 years back as downloadable MP3s. I think there are promo copies
kicking around though..
