The Keys: The Keys Album. A&M, 1981.
Love this record!!! Found a guy in Spaing who dubbed a fairly poor copy to disc. Would love to hear this remastered!!!!!
My contributin is :
Thin Lizard Dawn - GO!
One of the best psychedelic/power-pop/Cars meets Gary Numan meets Jellyfish meets Flaming Lips(later stuff)
Outstanding production value, although sometimes the songs go a tad longer than needed, in my freakin humble opinion. I think it only came out as a promo in a white platic digipac with a sticker of a Monkey hand pressing a button and the word Go and nearly nothing else. The inside had individual band member photos that looked a bit retro...The first song is "Get it" and damn, is the Rhodes part a hook form hell, or what. Interesting chord progressions and strange words amek this a bargain bin treasure, as it will never wee the lite of a "commercial" day.
regretfully, joe
