Quercio is kind of like Dennis Rodman -- Rodman couldn't do much other than
rebound, but boy could he rebound; likewise, the psych-pop thing seems to be
about the only thing he really does well, and he does it so freaking well.
The last couple Three O'Clock albums were grasping for commercial straws;
Permanent Green Light was frustrating -- some good songs mixed among some
ill-advised attempts to rock out and stay competitive.
I need to take the new JA disc out of the shrink wrap soon.
