~~~i'm sorry to be stupid, but what exactly does
'instrumentation' involve? what instruments are being
played? at what time?
if that's what it is/consists of...
then:
1. melody (catchiness/hook)
2. harmonies
3. lyrics
4. instrumentation ( ties for #3 only if there is
something notable... a cool crunchy guitar; a
typewriter, for instance; a great drum fill; what i
consider to be interesting/not so often used
instruments (mandolin, organ, strings, etc..)
5. production.
