every band i've ever played in or seen has played "Good Lovin'" entirely
wrong - the guitarist and drummer will invariably, think, "this is an easy
song - i'll just strum those 3 chords and play a good ol rock beat, and
that's good enuff." But LISTEN to what's going on - the guitar, especially
in the breaks, ROCKS... and more importantly, Dino D is a madman, he's
really doing a kind of more funky Moon thing! Or better yet, watch one of
the old videos of the Rascals playing the song, and you can't help but get
 KICKED in the butt! >>

ABSOLUTELY!
I have this German Beat Club clip of The Rascals ( I think the song is from
the "See" lp)
doing a song called Heaven (I think that is the title). Felix was going
through his white robe, long beard phase and Dino is back there just KICKING
ASS....playing this jazzy sort of swing meets Moon thing....twirling his sticks and
everything! Absolutely brilliant
and with such finesse.
