Let me assure you, Lord -- there are lots o' curmudgeons in this pond. I've gotten my dandruff up plenty and subjected these fine folks to a hefty dose of PMS-inspired ranting, so don't go thinking that people here are delicate flowers who can't "take it". What nobody needs or wants, though, is someone who comes across as an arsehole just for the sake of being one. What people have tried to get across to the few listers who've stomped off in a huff previously, is that all of their opinions and ideas are most welcome reading, particular from clearly intelligent people like yourself, but if the tone is one of personal attack (and unprovoked), the group is going to smack you back. So, why is it that some people's "holier-than-thou, condescending" posts don't invite group-smacks and yours did? You're a smart deity, Lord -- you can figure that out.

Love,
Aunt Wendie
