I saw Kenny two or three times with the Faces, he was incredible. I wonder if
they will ever do up a proper Faces set. There is obviously the Fillmore East
gig (two tracks are on Long Player) plus loads of BBC sessions in the can. There
are also a handful of great singles and B sides that have never been collected.
I saw Kenny with the Who four times I think. There were some moments when he got
a clue. I've seen a bit of vid from Oakland '82. They do a version of Youngman
that explodes. Afterwards Pete walks over to Rog with his hand out to shake
hands. Rog ducks, thinking Pete is gonna take a swing at him!
RS who couldn't play drums if his life depended on it, but has told more than a
few drummers what to do!
