Artists have no obligation to chat or be nice before or after their shows. You paid to see them play music, not be your buddy. If they ignore or dismiss the audience from the stage, that's bad business and they'll probably suffer (unless they do so artfully). It would be nice if all bands could wade through the crowd and high-five with their fans, but who among us hasn't come home from a hard day's work and wanted a few minutes of peace and quiet before being bombarded with hugs and kisses from our loved ones let alone complete strangers. It sounds to me like the FoW guys at least had the courtesy to tell Rick (I believe) why they weren't up for socializing. Fair enough, I say.
