I too enjoyed Duncan Faure's album 'Pronounced Four-Uh'. Duncan & his wife Laurie are good friends of mine living in South Africa where he was a much bigger star before re replaced Les McKeown as lead singer to the Bay City Rollers much. He carried the music to a much less bubblegum rock/pop seriousnous that of course did not resonate with the aging teenyboppers who wanted nothing to do with The Rollers. Duncan came to Toronto to play with his band The Bluebottles also out of South Africa in 1999 at C'est What with our very own Jaimie Vernon on sound that night I believe.
I loved Duncan's solohit "It's a New Today" which came out & had much video & airplay in the late eighties early nineties I believe. Looking to hear his new disc. He has a gentle Lennonsque feel to his music with great songwriting to boot.
