I've got 3 things on my mind:
1. Last week, a thread appeared on Don Dixon and it was mentioned that he was currently appearing as a washed up playwright in the movie "Camp". I saw Camp this past weekend, and his performance is fantastic. He delivers some really funny, deadpan lines....The movie is pretty good too. Check it out.
2. Watching the end credits for Camp, I noticed that Steven Trask wrote the original score for the movie. Steven Trask also wrote the score and performed in both the theater and movie version of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. While I could go on for hours discussing Hedwig, I will be kind and not inflict my Hedwig obsession on the members of the list. My question is, does anyone know what projects Steven is currently working on?
3. Much mention has been recently made of Bob Mould. I have pretty much his entire solo work, but, gasp....do not own one single Husker Du album. OK, now that I have shared that heresy with you all (I feel strangely purged), my question is, "If you could pick 1 or 2 Husker Du albums to own, what would they be?
OMG, as I was typing out the last item, I just realized that Bob Mould played on the movie soundtrack to Hedwig. (He contributed some wicked guitar solos to few of the songs). Did I bring up Bob Mould to really find out more about the Husker Du catalog, or was it just another smoke screen used to discuss Hedwig???...which I am now doing???
