Sugar, and Mould, wrote/write such great singles.
"If I Can't Change Your Mind," was a terrific tune, as was "Believe What
You're Saying," and "My Favorite Thing," from File Under Easy Listening (the
last Sugar LP).
"Workbook," was a great record, not just for "See A Little Light," but also
for"Wishing Well."
And, don't even get me going on Husker Du -- who will forever occupy a very
special place in my record collection.
I went to see Mould in Chicago at the Vic in 1997 when I was in grad school
at Northwestern. It was one the loudest shows I've ever been to -- and it
was just Bob and his guitars!
Great guy too, took a few minutes to chat with some fans after the set.
