A few comments --

The Sparks album was my number one record last year. Not only is it a
masterpiece, IMO, but in a discussion of this record earlier this year,
Stewart mentioned Prefab Sprout's JORDAN: THE ALBUM, which I purchased and
really enjoy. The sign of a truly great record -- it leads to you getting
other fine records.

The Trolleyvox was on my list of top 20 possibilities and is certainly a
contender in my book.

Damone -- I like it, but, like The Muffs, who they are similar too, I don't
love it.

Junior Senior -- their live performance didn't motivate me to buy the
record.

The Pearlfishers -- Still absorbing it.

Danny McDonald -- Not a contender, this time around, but close. Shows some
heretofore unseen depth.

The High Dials -- I hear more style than songs. I've listened to this
record a lot, and not much stuck with me. Still, something psych-pop fans
should check out, I would think.

Toothpaste 2000 -- Definitely a good album.

The Oranges Band -- They'd be on the same list for me. They remind me of
bit of Hypnolovewheel, which is a very good thing.

As for Bryan's titles, other than the High Dials, haven't heard any of them
yet. I hope I can find a way to get my ears around those selections along
with the stuff on Stewart's list I haven't heard. Sadly, there's only so
much time, and too much music.
