Being at the show wasn't half bad either. They played three new songs.

Got to sit in on the soundcheck with a bunch of radio contest winners...
Colter, from the Brain was doing his job as radio dude. The promoter is
a pal, who lives a couple of blocks away.

Nice to see a load of friends. Hadn't seen Scott or Ken Stringfellow for
over a year. Ken says his new solo album might get done in November when
he has a break in the tour.

Pete Buck finally sorted out who me and the wife are. He might have got
a clue last year, but he was well into his wine one night, which fogged
up the situation. Even now there was much eye rolling when Bellingham
was mentioned.

We headed to Ear Candy, the best record shop in Montana as soon as we
got to Missoula. Jeff and Glen from Wilco must have got there as soon as
the shop opened. I advised Tweedy that he might really want that copy of
20 Granite Creek, the Moby Grape reunion album. It wasn't very
expensive, and he didn't have it. He lit up when I told him about seeing
the Grape "way back when". He sussed out that it was at the Fillmore.
Nice guy.

smells like dinner is ready. Got a whole stack of new cds to sort
through...if anyone captured the webcast, drop me a line. I'd love to
hear it. There was some concern about archiving it, as it's got the new
songs on it.
