YES, and reading lists like these only exacerbates the perception. I have
listened to what seems like hundreds of CDs this year already and it barely
scratches the surface of what's out there. Good problem to have I suppose...
One CD which is getting my attention now is the new Dashboard Confessional,
which based on previous reviews I imagined would be depressingly 'whiny' but
to my surprise, is musically accomplished, heartfelt and well produced (by
Gil Norton). Really cool stuff. Also comes with a bonus DVD which I believe
is a positive trend. Would also recommend a quaint little power pop album by
Lazy. Not to mention the esoteric, understated Toshack Highway on a split CD
with Sianspheric - space rock with acoustic guitars...
Still looking out for FOW, SFA and of course BSP...all those acronyms :)
N/p: Dashboard Confessional - Am I Missing

there anything worth waiting for? Is there anything worth living for? Worth
dying for?"
Well, is there?
