Oh wow -- the Cutting Edge. Circa 1984-85 or so, that show was a godsend for
me. I distinctly remember R.E.M. doing an acoustic version of "Driver 8," in
a dark room somewhere, and a wonderful interview with The Minutemen.
For a music geek in a smalltown, it was a lifeline on par with USA's old
NightFlight show.
