I have a couple of homemade compilation videos of "IRS' The Cutting Edge" which
used to air on MTV in the mid-80's. Anyhow, there's a cool feature on Husker
Du on one of them and amid the cool footage of them onstage, Bob Mould talks
about the band name and says something like "you can call us Huskers, you can
call us Husker Du, but please don't call us Du" - then he says that they're
going to change their name to "The Wonderfuls". I always thought that was
funny.
Speaking of the "Cutting Edge" - anyone else have fond memories of staying up
on Sunday night to watch it??
