Picking up on Mike's comment..
"HD was a great live band" 

Since the Husker talk has been going on I have been thinking about 
how great they were live. I'm typically not big on long, instrumental 
jams. However, one time I caught them years ago, they closed the set 
with a jam that had to be 15 minutes long. It was fantastic. All 
three such great players and the sound FILLED the room. It was simply 
hypnotic, and probably the most trance like moment I've ever had at a 
live show. I felt like I was about to float off the floor. Not drug 
induced either.. : )
